April 28, 2007 - South Jordan City's Public Art and Cultural Development Board is proud to present the winners of the Riverton Metropolitan Orchestra's Third Annual Concerto Competition. Four of the finest musicians in the state will perform in concert accompanied by the Riverton Metropolitan Orchestra.
These outstanding musicians include the following winners of each category:
Youth: Violinist Rebekah Willey performing Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen (Gypsy Airs) Junior: Pianist Fay Fay Ye performing the first movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor
Senior: Pianist Stacy Fairbanks performing Prokofiew's Concerto No. 1.
Adult: Soprano Karen Brimley Larsen performing an aria from Verdi's La Forza Del Destino
